About the Juror
Art is William "Bill" C. Morris' purpose in life. His art is a journey
that few people have the opportunity to travel. He has traveled the
world and has received honors that few have bestowed upon them.
Bill Began at an early age of thirteen completing a portrait of John Fitzgerald Kennedy that hangs in the Capital Building in Washington, D. C. This portrait was the first stepping stone for Bill starting a career in the art world.
Today, he is both nationally and internationally proclaimed and has recently received the title of "Master Artist" by the Art Society of
the American West. His accomplishments include three Waterfowl Stamp designs including winning the 1984-85
Federal Waterfowl Stamp which was the largest art competition in the world.
His artwork is in galleries throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. His works are in prominent private collections including the
White House, National Art Gallery, The
Smithsonian Institute, Museum of the Rockies, Museum of the West, The Warnerfelt Museum, and Mobile Museum of Art. His
portrait of Mother Teresa he personally presented to Pope
Benedict and it is now a part of the Vatican collection in Rome.
